Concept

“Whiskers of Joy”
Reimagines the Christmas tree as a symbol of inclusivity, sustainability, and feline celebration. Inspired by our office cats and the larger stray cat community, the project transforms construction site scrap materials like paint buckets, PVC pipes, Bicycle Wheel and Bottles into an interactive and abstract cat tree.

The design reflects the spirit of Christmas, bringing joy not just to people but to animals, emphasizing that the festive season is for everyone. With cozy hideouts, playful tunnels, and climbing platforms, the structure caters to cats’ natural instincts, creating a safe and engaging space. Decorated with hand-drawn cat illustrations, and eco-friendly ribbons, the tree embodies a festive aesthetic while maintaining functionality. The use of recycled materials underscores a commitment to sustainability, turning waste into a meaningful design that celebrates the relationship between humans, animals, and nature. “Whiskers of Joy” fosters compassion and creativity, offering a shared haven for all cats to play, rest, and feel at home. By blending art, architecture, and ecology, this project inspires awareness about stray animal welfare and sustainable living. It is not just a tree but a heartfelt celebration of the holiday spirit, uniting communities through design and empathy.
