Concept

The Circuitry of Christmas: A sustainable Christmas Tree

The tree draws it’s concept in finding beauty in what others consider insignificant or discard, just as the story of Christmas displays how the small and insignificant were used by God to bring forth something great ( City of Bethlehem, being born in a manger etc. )

The tree was crafted using e-waste /discarded electronic components. Each item was dismantled and carefully reassembled into a structure resembling a Christmas tree embodying the spirit of renewal, and sustainability by transforming waste into a symbol of hope.

This project celebrates community involvement and the spirit of giving, which is all about Christmas. Friends, family, and local organizations contributed their unused electronics to breathe new life into them. It serves as an inspiring example of how collaboration can transform waste into wonder, making the holiday season festive and sustainable.

Materials

This Christmas tree is crafted entirely from E-waste. It features motherboards, graphics cards, electronic circuits, keyboard keys, salvaged LED lights, a cooling fan base, and connecting wires.
