The Floating Christmas Tree is an eco-conscious reimagining of traditional holiday décor, crafted entirely from biodegradable materials sourced from my home garden. This innovative design uses four suspended rings made from discarded cardboard, creating the illusion of a floating tree. Each ring is adorned with natural, sustainable elements, blending elegance with environmental responsibility.
Decorative Elements:
A radiant star crafted from coconut coir, symbolizing renewal.
Dried litter leaves wich have fallen in my garden painted gold, showcasing the hidden beauty in nature’s discards.
Lowi fruits wich are excess fallen fruits in my garden and lush vines, adding vibrant color and life.
Repurposed biscuit boards provide structural support, reinforcing the zero-waste ethos.
This design embodies sustainability by minimizing waste and promoting creative reuse. It perfectly aligns with the competition theme, “Tree without a tree,” offering an alternative to traditional Christmas trees while celebrating eco-friendly practices. The Floating Christmas Tree not only evokes ethereal charm but also highlights the potential for beauty in sustainable design, making it a perfect fit for Archalley’s competition, embodying the spirit of giving and mindful living.
