Concept
This sustainable Christmas tree is a celebration of nature’s beauty and environmental responsibility. Crafted from layers of natural and repurposed materials, it brings a unique, eco-friendly touch to the holiday season. The base features dry leaves, evoking the earth’s rustic charm. Above them, pistachio shells add texture and visual interest, contrasting with the organic feel of the leaves. Fish scales, with their iridescent shimmer, provide a magical, aquatic touch, while wooden dust reinforces the tree’s structure, symbolizing the reuse of materials. At the top, a star made from seashells adds a coastal elegance, completing the design. Dried small fruits and flowers offer colorful, whimsical accents. This tree not only highlights the beauty of nature but also demonstrates how everyday, discarded items can be repurposed to create something beautiful and sustainable. It’s a perfect embodiment of creativity, sustainability, and the holiday spirit.

This sustainable Christmas tree uses repurposed materials like red button ginger petals, pistachio shells, fish scales, wood dust, seashells, fallen fruits, queen wreath flowers, cardboard, glue, threads, and non-toxic colors.

We want to enjoy the rain, from every room of our house”, was the initial statement made by the clients in their project brief.”The Color Burst House” was the result, and it included three enormous, double-height open to sky courtyards that all of the main rooms could open into, allowing the occupants to enjoy the rain, light and breeze with the changing seasons from the comfort of their rooms.
