The “iDALscapes ‘19”, Academic Exhibition showcases the outstanding work undertaken by our recent graduate students of Honours Degree of Landscape Architecture of the University of Moratuwa, in their final year Comprehensive Design Projects. The final design products include panels, 3D models and project reports that will be exhibited in the “iDALscapes ‘19” graduation exhibition. In tandem, a magazine of a collection of the final year projects too will be published.
This year, in parallel to the graduation exhibition, the individual design projects of the undergraduates in their Major Design Projects too would be brought to light.
The designs have addressed critical as well as fragile issues that can be intervened within the context of a Landscape Architect providing solutions relating to fields such as Recreation, Environmental Conservation, Landscape planning, Public spaces, Tourism, Cultural Development, etc.
It is a known fact that the profession of Landscape Architecture is necessary for the sustainable development of our country. However, a handful of the community has a thorough knowledge on how Landscape Architecture can assist on such areas. Therefore, we aim on achieving the following objectives through the exhibition.

- Architecture for the relevant professionals and fields to ensure future carrier opportunities
- To showcase the scope and potentials of Landscape Architecture
