Organized by the Saskia Fernando Gallery, “Hazy Existences” is a solo exhibition by the renowned Indian contemporary artist Chandra Bhattacharjee.
Emphasizing the contemplative visual poetry of the hidden strains of rural existence, the artworks displayed use charcoal, matte acrylics and dry pastels as the modes of execution.
The artist attempts to focus on the play of light of natural ecology, resulting in interesting textured renderings of hushed figures, animals and trees-encompassing the village life.
Opened for viewing till the 10th of August, the gallery features an artist walkthrough, on the 16th July at 6.30 pm.
