Thepulee Wannakukorala, a Sri Lankan architecture student from City School of Architecture became the youngest researcher on the island to have a scientific paper accepted and recognized by NASA.
This historic moment was achieved when her 2020 research on Thermo Nano Cells captured the attention of leading divisions within the space agency. She has earned an official invitation to submit a follow-up study, opening for a potential future research role position with NASA.
